In November 2015 Il Ponte held the auction Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo, which included the work Ultime luci by Cagnaccio di San Pietro. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 4,000.00 60% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cagnaccio di San Pietro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nudo in riva al mare / La rosa del mare in November 2021 with an auction result of EUR 130,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 60 % übertroffen
Im November 2015 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ultime luci von Cagnaccio di San Pietro zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 4.000,00 und damit 60% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cagnaccio di San Pietro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nudo in riva al mare / La rosa del mare im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 130.000,00.
