In November last year Il Ponte held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Mio padre by Cagnaccio di San Pietro. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,600.00 73% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cagnaccio di San Pietro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nudo in riva al mare / La rosa del mare in November 2021 with an auction result of EUR 130,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 73 % übertroffen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Il Ponte die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mio padre von Cagnaccio di San Pietro zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.600,00 und damit 73% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cagnaccio di San Pietro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nudo in riva al mare / La rosa del mare im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 130.000,00.
