Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Cagnaccio di San Pietro achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in May last year. In the Arte moderna e contemporanea auction, the work Leggendo sold for EUR 38,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Cagnaccio di San Pietro - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Nudo in riva al mare / La rosa del mare, which sold at auction in November 2021 for EUR 130,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Cagnaccio di San Pietro erzielte im Mai letzten Jahres bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Arte moderna e contemporanea wurde die Arbeit Leggendo für EUR 38.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Cagnaccio di San Pietro mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Nudo in riva al mare / La rosa del mare beobachtet, die im November 2021 für EUR 130.000,00 versteigert wurde.
