Auction result well in line with expectations
In May this year Phillips in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work MG247 by Min Byung Hun. The price achieved of GBP 15,240.00 (€ 17,731.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Other works by Min Byung Hun have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2008 the work TR037; TR038; TR039 & TR040 was auctioned for HKD 300,000.00 (€ 27,803.72).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Phillips in London die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit MG247 von Min Byung Hun zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 15.240,00 (€ 17.731,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Min Byung Hun konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember 2008 die Arbeit TR037; TR038; TR039 & TR040 für HKD 300.000,00 (€ 27.803,72) versteigert.
