Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2010 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work WV041; WV048; & WV029 by Min Byung Hun. The price achieved of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 10,388.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 75,000.00 – 120,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Min Byung Hun - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work TR037; TR038; TR039 & TR040, which sold at auction in December 2008 for HKD 300,000.00 (€ 27,803.72).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2010 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit WV041; WV048; & WV029 von Min Byung Hun zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 10.388,88) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 75.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Min Byung Hun mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit TR037; TR038; TR039 & TR040 beobachtet, die im Dezember 2008 für HKD 300.000,00 (€ 27.803,72) versteigert wurde.
