In March 2008 Christies in New York held the auction Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture, which included the work Corrida by Byron Browne. The »bidding war« ended at USD 6,500.00 (€ 4,112.62), 30% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Byron Browne achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Classical Still Life in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 162,500.00 (€ 143,513.20).

Im März 2008 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit Corrida von Byron Browne zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 6.500,00 (€ 4.112,62) und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Byron Browne erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Classical Still Life im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 162.500,00 (€ 143.513,20).
