Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Burt Procter could be acquired at Bonhams in February this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Coast to Coast | Live OnlineAmerican Art, including The Collection of Gail Feingarten Oppenheimer auction, the work Figures at a Tropical Island Lagoon changed hands for USD 573.75 (€ 541.17) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Burt Procter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cowboy on horseback in April 2019 with an auction result of USD 8,200.00 (€ 7,320.77).
