In April this year Bonhams held the auction Western Art, which included the work Meeting on the Mesa by Burt Procter. The »bidding war« ended at USD 4,845.00 (€ 4,388.59), 38% above the upper estimate. Other works by Burt Procter have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 8,200.00 (€ 7,320.77) in April 2019 for the work Cowboy on horseback.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 38 % übertroffen
Im April diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Western Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Meeting on the Mesa von Burt Procter zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 4.845,00 (€ 4.388,59) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Burt Procter haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 8.200,00 (€ 7.320,77) im April 2019 für die Arbeit Cowboy on horseback beobachtet.
