Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Power Of (G String Series) by Budi Kustarto was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2015. The price achieved of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 11,682.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Budi Kustarto have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tricycle Ice Cream (Construction Series) in April 2008 with an auction result of HKD 847,500.00 (€ 69,844.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Power Of (G String Series) von Budi Kustarto kam im Oktober 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 11.682,67) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Budi Kustarto auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tricycle Ice Cream (Construction Series) im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 847.500,00 (€ 69.844,71).
