Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Cairn #IV by Bryan Hunt for GBP 563.00 (€ 658.24). This price was achieved in the auction New Now at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bryan Hunt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pangaea II in May 2001 with an auction result of USD 44,650.00 (€ 52,808.99).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Cairn #IV von Bryan Hunt für GBP 563,00 (€ 658,24) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bryan Hunt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pangaea II im Mai 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 44.650,00 (€ 52.808,99).
