The work Variation: Winter by Alexej von Jawlensky was sold in the Modern auction at VAN HAM in May 2017. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 129,000.00 29% above the estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexej von Jawlensky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Schokko (Schokko Mit Tellerhut) Schokko (Schokko With Wide-Brimmed Hat) in February 2008 with an auction result of GBP 9,428,500.00 (€ 12,332,107.99).

Die Arbeit Variation: Winter von Alexej von Jawlensky wurde im Mai 2017 in der Auktion Modern bei VAN HAM versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 129.000,00 und damit 29% über dem Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexej von Jawlensky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Schokko (Schokko Mit Tellerhut) Schokko (Schokko With Wide-Brimmed Hat) im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.428.500,00 (€ 12.332.107,99).
