Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2019 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included this untitled work by Brigitte Kowanz. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,375.00 19% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Brigitte Kowanz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work DELIGHT. in December 2020 with an auction result of EUR 20,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2019 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Brigitte Kowanz zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.375,00 und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Brigitte Kowanz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit DELIGHT. im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 20.000,00.
