Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Boris Chaliapin could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in February 2007 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Impressionist & Modern Art auction, the work Farmhouse Exterior changed hands for USD 7,200.00 (€ 5,442.18) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Boris Chaliapin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait Of Olga Spesivtseva, which sold at auction in November 2012 for GBP 15,000.00 (€ 18,478.48).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Boris Chaliapin konnte im Februar 2007 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art wechselte die Arbeit Farmhouse Exterior für USD 7.200,00 (€ 5.442,18) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00.
