Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2020 Bonhams in London held the auction The Russian Sale, which included the work Portrait of Fedor Chaliapin in a stage costume of Ivan the Terrible by Boris Chaliapin. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 12,750.00 (€ 14,233.30). Other works by Boris Chaliapin have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 18,478.48) in November 2012 for the work Portrait Of Olga Spesivtseva.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2020 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion The Russian Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait of Fedor Chaliapin in a stage costume of Ivan the Terrible von Boris Chaliapin zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 12.750,00 (€ 14.233,30) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Boris Chaliapin haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 18.478,48) im November 2012 für die Arbeit Portrait Of Olga Spesivtseva beobachtet.
