Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Set Design For Le Roi De Lahore, Act I by Boris Anisfeld was sold in the The Collection of Martha Hyder Online auction at Sothebys in New York in November 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 8,125.00 (€ 7,175.66) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Boris Anisfeld achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowering Tree in November 2008 with an auction result of GBP 481,250.00 (€ 581,867.42).

Die Arbeit Set Design For Le Roi De Lahore, Act I von Boris Anisfeld wurde im November 2018 in der Auktion The Collection of Martha Hyder Online bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 7.175,66) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Boris Anisfeld erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowering Tree im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 481.250,00 (€ 581.867,42).
