In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session auction, the work La Mancha De Plátano sold for USD 44,450.00 (€ 41,721.42) - well above the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Bony Ramirez; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Las Perlas Traen Lágrimas sold at auction in May last year with the realized price of USD 63,000.00 (€ 58,708.41).
