This artwork by Bolesław Biegas achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in May 2008. In the Art Impressionniste et Moderne auction, the work Matinée sold for EUR 8,650.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bolesław Biegas achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dance de la joie in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 112,562.00 (€ 130,563.85).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Bolesław Biegas erzielte im Mai 2008 bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Art Impressionniste et Moderne wurde die Arbeit Matinée für EUR 8.650,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bolesław Biegas erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dance de la joie im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 112.562,00 (€ 130.563,85).
