Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Bob Law achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in November 2005. In the TWENTIETH CENTURY BRITISH ART auction, the work A Hole Whithin Hole sold for GBP 2,160.00 (€ 3,173.31) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bob Law achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nothing to be Afraid of V 16.7.69 in March this year with an auction result of GBP 101,100.00 (€ 115,020.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Bob Law erzielte im November 2005 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion TWENTIETH CENTURY BRITISH ART wurde die Arbeit A Hole Whithin Hole für GBP 2.160,00 (€ 3.173,31) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bob Law erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nothing to be Afraid of V 16.7.69 im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 101.100,00 (€ 115.020,78).
