Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2018 Bonhams in New York held the auction Little AcornsPhotographs Online, which included the work Mick Jagger by Bob Gruen. The price achieved of USD 1,000.00 (€ 872.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bob Gruen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work John Lennon, NYC, 1974, which sold at auction in June 2019 for GBP 1,750.00 (€ 1,967.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2018 führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Little AcornsPhotographs Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mick Jagger von Bob Gruen zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.000,00 (€ 872,91) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Bob Gruen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit John Lennon, NYC, 1974 beobachtet, die im Juni 2019 für GBP 1.750,00 (€ 1.967,26) versteigert wurde.
