Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Bob Bonies could be acquired at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2001 for an unexpectedly low price. In the PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS auction, the work Composition changed hands for NLG 411.25 (€ 197.67) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of NLG 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bob Bonies achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blauw-Wit (Blue-White) in May 2019 with an auction result of EUR 10,625.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Bob Bonies konnte im Juni 2001 bei Christies in Amsterdam für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS wechselte die Arbeit Composition für NLG 411,25 (€ 197,67) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von NLG 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bob Bonies erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Blauw-Wit (Blue-White) im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 10.625,00.
