Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Death Of Caravaggio by Blek le Rat was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in August 2021. The price achieved of USD 1,020.00 (€ 864.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Blek le Rat achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Last Tango À Paris - 2016 in November 2019 with an auction result of EUR 49,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Death Of Caravaggio von Blek le Rat kam im August 2021 bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.020,00 (€ 864,41) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Blek le Rat erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Last Tango À Paris - 2016 im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 49.400,00.
