The work Abstraction I by Blanche Lazzell was worth USD 37,500.00 (€ 30,438.31) to a buyer in March 2018. This price was achieved in the auction American Art at Sothebys in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 10,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Blanche Lazzell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Painting Xi (The Windmill) in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 505,000.00 (€ 324,550.13).
