Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 74,340.00 (€ 68,465.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 60,000.00 – 100,000.00. Admittedly, works by Bill Traylor have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Man on White, Woman on Red / Man with Black Dog, double sided, 1939-1942 in January 2020 with an auction result of USD 507,000.00 (€ 457,044.98).
