Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled; and a companion work by Betty Parsons was auctioned at Christies in New York in June 2015. Here, the upper estimate of USD 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 1,250.00 (€ 1,120.67). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Betty Parsons achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in December 2020 with an auction result of USD 138,600.00 (€ 113,327.88).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled; and a companion work von Betty Parsons kam im Juni 2015 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 1.250,00 (€ 1.120,67) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Betty Parsons erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 138.600,00 (€ 113.327,88).
