Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2016 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work I Believe by Besta Bestrizal. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 106,250.00 (€ 12,280.53), 18% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Besta Bestrizal - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Unity in Diversity - Brings Us To the Top of the Sky, which sold at auction in November 2017 for HKD 300,000.00 (€ 32,299.55).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2016 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit I Believe von Besta Bestrizal zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 106.250,00 (€ 12.280,53) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Besta Bestrizal mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Unity in Diversity - Brings Us To the Top of the Sky beobachtet, die im November 2017 für HKD 300.000,00 (€ 32.299,55) versteigert wurde.
