Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2013 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work I Have Got It! by Besta Bestrizal. The price achieved of HKD 43,750.00 (€ 4,338.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 35,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Besta Bestrizal have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Unity in Diversity - Brings Us To the Top of the Sky in November 2017 with an auction result of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 32,299.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2013 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit I Have Got It! von Besta Bestrizal zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 43.750,00 (€ 4.338,62) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 35.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Besta Bestrizal auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Unity in Diversity - Brings Us To the Top of the Sky im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 32.299,55).
