Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Thank God for the Gift of Life, No Complaints by Besta Bestrizal for HKD 62,500.00 (€ 6,847.72). This price was achieved in the auction Modern & Contemporary Art Online: Come Fly with Me at Christies in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 70,000.00 – 90,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Besta Bestrizal have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Unity in Diversity - Brings Us To the Top of the Sky in November 2017 with an auction result of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 32,299.55).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Thank God for the Gift of Life, No Complaints von Besta Bestrizal für HKD 62.500,00 (€ 6.847,72) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art Online: Come Fly with Me bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 70.000,00 – 90.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Besta Bestrizal auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Unity in Diversity - Brings Us To the Top of the Sky im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 32.299,55).
