It changed hands for a price of EUR 765.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 600.00 – 800.00. Admittedly, works by Bertrand Dorny have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in October 2010 with an auction result of USD 5,000.00 (€ 3,598.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ensemble De 2 Planches Illustrant New York. 1988 von Bertrand Dorny kam im Dezember 2010 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 765,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 600,00 – 800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bertrand Dorny auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 3.598,68).
