It achieved a price of USD 892.50 (€ 841.82), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 28%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bertha Stringer Lee - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Rhododendrons, Golden Gate Park, which sold at auction in August 2021 for USD 2,550.00 (€ 2,161.02).

Die Arbeit Lake Landscape von Bertha Stringer Lee wurde im Februar diesen Jahres in der Auktion Coast to Coast | Live OnlineAmerican Art, including The Collection of Gail Feingarten Oppenheimer bei Bonhams versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 892,50 (€ 841,82) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 28%. Für andere Arbeiten von Bertha Stringer Lee mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Rhododendrons, Golden Gate Park beobachtet, die im August 2021 für USD 2.550,00 (€ 2.161,02) versteigert wurde.
