In the California Art auction, the work Rhododendrons, Golden Gate Park changed hands for USD 2,550.00 (€ 2,161.02) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Despite this disappointing result, Rhododendrons, Golden Gate Park is the most expensive artwork by Bertha Stringer Lee that we have observed at auction so far.
