Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2021 Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction California and Western Art Online, which included the work Forest Interior by Bertha Stringer Lee. The price achieved of USD 357.00 (€ 315.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 300.00 – 400.00. Admittedly, works by Bertha Stringer Lee have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rhododendrons, Golden Gate Park in August 2021 with an auction result of USD 2,550.00 (€ 2,161.02).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion California and Western Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Forest Interior von Bertha Stringer Lee zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 357,00 (€ 315,43) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 300,00 – 400,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bertha Stringer Lee auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Rhododendrons, Golden Gate Park im August 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.550,00 (€ 2.161,02).
