Auction result misses estimated price range
In September last year a collector was able to acquire the work Sad song by Bernhard Martin for EUR 3,528.00. This price was achieved in the auction Un regard sur le monde : Collection Comte & Comtesse Jean-Jacques de Flers at Christies in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bernhard Martin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work „Abströmen“., which sold at auction in December 2016 for EUR 12,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Sad song von Bernhard Martin für EUR 3.528,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Un regard sur le monde : Collection Comte & Comtesse Jean-Jacques de Flers bei Christies in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Bernhard Martin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit „Abströmen“. beobachtet, die im Dezember 2016 für EUR 12.500,00 versteigert wurde.
