Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Sans titre (Drawing 8) by Bernhard Martin for EUR 250.00. This price was achieved in the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art vente du jour at Christies in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 300.00 – 400.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bernhard Martin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work „Abströmen“. in December 2016 with an auction result of EUR 12,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Sans titre (Drawing 8) von Bernhard Martin für EUR 250,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art vente du jour bei Christies in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 300,00 – 400,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bernhard Martin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit „Abströmen“. im Dezember 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 12.500,00.
