The work Venice, A View Of The Campo And Church Of Santa Maria Formosa by Bernardo Bellotto was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in October 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 3,000,000.00 – 5,000,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 3,408,000.00 (€ 2,926,075.38) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Bernardo Bellotto have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work View of Verona with the Ponte delle Navi in July 2021 with an auction result of GBP 10,575,000.00 (€ 12,401,380.23).

Die Arbeit Venice, A View Of The Campo And Church Of Santa Maria Formosa von Bernardo Bellotto kam im Oktober 2020 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 3.000.000,00 – 5.000.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 3.408.000,00 (€ 2.926.075,38) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
