Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Architectural Capriccio With A Palace Beside A Moat And Figures In The Foreground by Bernardo Bellotto for USD 685,500.00 (€ 588,563.58). This price was achieved in the auction Master Paintings at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 700,000.00 – 900,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bernardo Bellotto achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work View of Verona with the Ponte delle Navi in July 2021 with an auction result of GBP 10,575,000.00 (€ 12,401,380.23).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Architectural Capriccio With A Palace Beside A Moat And Figures In The Foreground von Bernardo Bellotto für USD 685.500,00 (€ 588.563,58) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Master Paintings bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 700.000,00 – 900.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bernardo Bellotto erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit View of Verona with the Ponte delle Navi im Juli 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.575.000,00 (€ 12.401.380,23).
