Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Interior with a young family group by Bernard Pothast was sold in the British and European Art auction at Bonhams in London in November last year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 2,040.00 (€ 2,363.89). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bernard Pothast achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The new dress in April 2000 with an auction result of GBP 25,850.00 (€ 44,254.15).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Interior with a young family group von Bernard Pothast wurde im November letzten Jahres in der Auktion British and European Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 2.040,00 (€ 2.363,89) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bernard Pothast erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The new dress im April 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 25.850,00 (€ 44.254,15).
