Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Family idyll by Bernard Pothast for SEK 40,000.00 (€ 4,659.49). This price was achieved in the auction Autumn Classic Sale, Stockholm at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 50,000.00 – 60,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Bernard Pothast have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The new dress in April 2000 with an auction result of GBP 25,850.00 (€ 44,254.15).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Family idyll von Bernard Pothast für SEK 40.000,00 (€ 4.659,49) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Autumn Classic Sale, Stockholm bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 50.000,00 – 60.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bernard Pothast auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The new dress im April 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 25.850,00 (€ 44.254,15).
