Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2016 Sothebys in London held the auction Modern & Post-War British Art, which included the work Interior With Forms by Bernard Cohen. The price achieved of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 7,201.96) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Bernard Cohen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Grey Place in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 37,011.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2016 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Modern & Post-War British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Interior With Forms von Bernard Cohen zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 7.201,96) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bernard Cohen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Grey Place im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 32.500,00 (€ 37.011,44).
