This artwork by Bernard Cohen achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in June 2017. In the London to St. Ives auction, the work Grey Place sold for GBP 32,500.00 (€ 37,011.44) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 18,000.00. This high result makes Grey Place the most expensive artwork by Bernard Cohen that we have observed at auctions so far.
