This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale at Christies in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bernard Boutet de Monvel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work S.A.R. Le Maharadjah D'Indore in April 2016 with an auction result of EUR 2,499,000.00.
