Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2016 Phillips in London held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included this untitled work by Berlinde de Bruyckere. The price achieved of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 60,016.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Berlinde de Bruyckere have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Marthe in March 2017 with an auction result of GBP 356,750.00 (€ 418,075.79).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2016 führte Phillips in London die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Berlinde de Bruyckere zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 50.000,00 (€ 60.016,32) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Berlinde de Bruyckere auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Marthe im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 356.750,00 (€ 418.075,79).
