A top price for Berlinde de Bruyckere
In March 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Evening Auction, which included the work Marthe by Berlinde de Bruyckere. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 356,750.00 (€ 418,075.79), 62% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Marthe the most expensive artwork by Berlinde de Bruyckere that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im März 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Evening Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Marthe von Berlinde de Bruyckere zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 356.750,00 (€ 418.075,79) und damit 62% über dem oberen Schätzpreis.
