Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Holy Family With Saints Anne And Joachim, And The Infant Saint John The Baptist by Benvenuto Tisi Garofalo was sold in the Old Masters Day Sale auction at Sothebys in London in July 2016. The price achieved of GBP 47,500.00 (€ 56,440.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Benvenuto Tisi Garofalo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Saint Jerome in the Wilderness in December 2010 with an auction result of GBP 265,250.00 (€ 307,689.20).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Holy Family With Saints Anne And Joachim, And The Infant Saint John The Baptist von Benvenuto Tisi Garofalo wurde im Juli 2016 in der Auktion Old Masters Day Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 47.500,00 (€ 56.440,28) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Benvenuto Tisi Garofalo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Saint Jerome in the Wilderness im Dezember 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 265.250,00 (€ 307.689,20).
