Sold at the lower estimate price
The work Campos de mies by Benjamín Palencia was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2015. The result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 14,099.87) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Benjamín Palencia achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work El Librero (The Book Seller) in November 2008 with an auction result of GBP 133,250.00 (€ 161,109.26).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Campos de mies von Benjamín Palencia kam im Juni 2015 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 14.099,87) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Benjamín Palencia erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit El Librero (The Book Seller) im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 133.250,00 (€ 161.109,26).
