Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work I. Don'T Have Grand Angus Man/ Ii. Great Escape/ Iii. Upsize Me (Three Works) by Ben Frost for HKD 13,750.00 (€ 1,501.35). This price was achieved in the auction CURATED: TURN IT UP at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 16,000.00 – 26,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ben Frost - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Apocalypse : The Musical - 2007, which sold at auction in April 2018 for EUR 5,460.00.

Im Juni 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit I. Don'T Have Grand Angus Man/ Ii. Great Escape/ Iii. Upsize Me (Three Works) von Ben Frost für HKD 13.750,00 (€ 1.501,35) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion CURATED: TURN IT UP bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 16.000,00 – 26.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ben Frost mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Apocalypse : The Musical - 2007 beobachtet, die im April 2018 für EUR 5.460,00 versteigert wurde.
