Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2019 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Urban & Pop Contemporary, which included the work Gtreats - 2017 by Ben Frost. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,170.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Ben Frost have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Apocalypse : The Musical - 2007 in April 2018 with an auction result of EUR 5,460.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2019 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Urban & Pop Contemporary durch, in der auch die Arbeit Gtreats - 2017 von Ben Frost zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.170,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ben Frost auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Apocalypse : The Musical - 2007 im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.460,00.
