Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Welcome Home by Belisario Gioja was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2011. The price achieved of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,434.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Other works by Belisario Gioja have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2005 the work Anticipation of the arrival was auctioned for GBP 1,200.00 (€ 1,761.09).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.434,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Belisario Gioja konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im September 2005 die Arbeit Anticipation of the arrival für GBP 1.200,00 (€ 1.761,09) versteigert.
