Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Belisario Gioja could be acquired at Christies in London in November 2006 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 19th Century European Art auction, the work Watching the hunt go by changed hands for GBP 600.00 (€ 891.02) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00. Other works by Belisario Gioja have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in September 2005 by the work Anticipation of the arrival at GBP 1,200.00 (€ 1,761.09).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Belisario Gioja konnte im November 2006 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 19th Century European Art wechselte die Arbeit Watching the hunt go by für GBP 600,00 (€ 891,02) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 700,00 – 1.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Belisario Gioja wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im September 2005 die Arbeit Anticipation of the arrival mit GBP 1.200,00 (€ 1.761,09).
