The work Iranian untitled by Behjat Sadr was auctioned at Sothebys in Dubai in November 2017. The auction ended at the price of USD 15,000.00 (€ 12,607.16), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 12,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Behjat Sadr have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 96,250.00 (€ 111,643.10).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Iranian untitled von Behjat Sadr kam im November 2017 bei Sothebys in Dubai zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 12.607,16) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 12.000,00 – 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Behjat Sadr auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 96.250,00 (€ 111.643,10).
