Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Iraniani) & Ii) Untitled by Behjat Sadr was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2018. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,638.46) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Behjat Sadr achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 96,250.00 (€ 111,643.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Iraniani) & Ii) Untitled von Behjat Sadr kam im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.638,46) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Behjat Sadr erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 96.250,00 (€ 111.643,10).
